DIY Bug Hotel

Materials:

Cardboard, toilet paper rolls, small wooden box (optional), hot glue, building materials like sticks, bark, pine cones, etc.

Step 1: Head outside and collect some bug-friendly building materials, like sticks, bark, pine cones, and leaves. The more things you collect the more bugs you'll most likely attract!

Step 2: Find a structure to build your home in. You can use a small wooden box for this or you can create a structure using a cardboard box. Glue pieces of cardboard and old toilet paper rolls into your structure to create small compartments.

Step 3: Place your nesting materials into the compartments. Layer in the materials - bugs love nooks and crannies, so pack it in! Place your bug hotel outside near a garden and observe the bugs that move into their new home!
